Children of Heroes Foundation

Mr. White served as a paratrooper in     the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne       Division and as a member of  the     Illinois National Guard.

Mr. White has and will continue to give his time and effort to advise and guide the Foundation.

Mr. Lynch will assist in contacting veteran organizations to help support the Children of Heroes Foundation and the sale of its products.  He will also assist in qualifying veteran organizations to which Children of Heroes will contribute.

The President of the United States presented him with:                            The Bronze Star Medal

Lt. Col. Turner, while not representing the Marine Corp, he will be personally advising and helping the Foundation in areas relating to the military.

Mr. Frazier is a father of an American hero, Jacob Frazier, lost while defending our country.  Jim is dedicated to helping veterans and their families.

Children of Heroes Foundation is a way all of us can address the concern every American has for the children of service people who are casualties in Iraq.  Nothing can heal the deep wound of the loss of a parent.  But we can, as communities and a nation, stand together with those whose loss a grief are profound.  I am pleased to endorse this effort to provide college scholarships, counseling and emergency services.  This project expresses the common bonds, regardless of our political affiliations or opinions on the war in Iraq, that bind us together as one nation.

Whatever our  backgrounds, religious affiliation, politics and views on the present war, the hearts of all Americans reach out to the families, and particularly, to the children, of those who have perished in the conflict.  In this we are united.  Support for children of heroes is a way for which all of us yearn to be united in bringing healing to hurt, wholeness to the brokenness of loss, to express in deed that which is the heart of all spirituality, acts of charity and love.

Mr. Gehron will advise the Foundation in the field of media and media relations.  Clear Channel, as part of their commitment to the Foundation and the community, has generously volunteered to run national public service announcements about the Foundation and its cause.  Clear Channel owns over 1,000 radio stations across the United States, in addition to outdoor displays, live entertainment and television stations.

Mr. Kalm has spent over twenty years counseling such leading companies as GE, FedEx, Equity Office, IBM and many others on building and strengthening their corporate reputations.  The son of a decorated soldier in World War II, he has volunteered his and his staff's time and effort to help develop public relations strategies for the Children of Heroes Foundation.

Mr. and Mrs. Upton have created and developed the Children of Heroes web site and continue to contribute their time and effort to the Foundation.
